Morocco Expands COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility to Pregnant Women, Nursing Mothers, and Most Allergy Sufferers

Henceforth, people with allergies, breastfeeding women and those who are pregnant (from the 4th month) can be vaccinated against Covid-19, announced the Ministry of Health.
This decision takes into account the latest international scientific data and the recommendations of the National Scientific Committee on Vaccination. In a press release, the ministry highlighted the contraindications of the vaccine for people with allergic problems, except for severe anaphylactic shocks (Anaphylactic shock and Quincke’s edema), the ministry specifies.
The ministry calls on all the categories currently targeted by the vaccination campaign to take this important step in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus seriously.
While calling for compliance with barrier gestures and preventive measures, the department of Khalid Ait Taleb indicated that these sacrifices have only one goal: to achieve collective immunity for a normal resumption of activities.
