Morocco Expands Busy Casablanca Bypass Highway with New Third Lane

The national company Autoroutes du Maroc will put into service, this Wednesday, the third lane from PK60 to PK69+500 of the Casablanca bypass highway.
This 9.5 km section is one of the most frequented in the Kingdom, reports the MAP, adding that the "complex" site carried out by ADM was entirely carried out by Moroccan companies.
At a total cost of 254 million dirhams fully financed by ADM, the project was planned in 3 phases. The 1st concerns the widening to 2×3 lanes from PK60 to PK 69+500, while the 2nd concerns the completion of the widening work to 2×3 lanes from PK 70+700 to PK 72+800 from the full-lane toll plaza of Tit Mellil to the Tit Mellil interchange. As for the last phase, it concerns the upgrading of the structure of the full-lane toll plaza of Tit Mellil.
The completed phase 1 in 20 months and the second phase is 80% complete.
