Morocco Enhances Support for Expatriates During Summer Visits Home

Tuesday 30 July 2019, by Sylvanus

Through a press release, the Urban Agency of Errachidia-Midelt announced the implementation of measures to interact with the concerns of MREs, reports Aujourd’hui Le Maroc.

For the Agency, it is a matter of establishing constant communication with MREs and supporting their summer stay in their country of origin, in accordance with the Royal High Directives, the government’s orientations and the benefits to which they are entitled by right, according to the Ministry of National Land Use Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy.

Empowered by these measures, the Agency will take an active part in the actions of a One-Stop Shop cell, within the headquarters of the Wilaya of the DrĂ¢a-Tafilalet region. This cell has actually started its action since June 6. It will continue until September 15. According to the same source, the Urban Agency has already created two cells that function as a One-Stop Shop for MREs. These will remain operational from July 15 to August 31, 2019.

The first is housed within the premises of the Urban Agency headquarters in Errachidia. The second has been set up in the Agency’s annex in the city of Midelt. These two cells are responsible for welcoming MREs, providing them with the necessary support and assistance, in order to respond instantly to their various requests and to set up telephone lines, available to users, on a permanent basis and during the weekend, details the press release.
