Morocco Enhances Security of National Diplomas to Combat Forgery

A convention signed last Friday between the Ministry of National Education and Bank Al-Maghrib provides for the transfer of the design of all national diplomas to Dar As-Sikkah.
According to the terms of this agreement, the design, preparation and security of all national diplomas of the Ministry of National Education will henceforth be ensured by Bank Al-Maghrib for a period of 10 years. The efforts, it is said, aim to "strengthen national certificates and reinforce their credibility at the national and international levels" while supporting "the mechanisms for guaranteeing rights and equal opportunities by securing them using the latest modern technologies adopted internationally".
It is specified that the convention covers both the baccalaureate and the transcript of grades obtained as well as all primary and secondary education certificates in the national education sector, in addition to vocational training and higher education diplomas.
Bank Al-Maghrib has committed to providing all the agreed services, taking into account the provision of quality and assurance conditions, and of course to highlight all the necessary data and information, it is assured.
However, no mention has been made of the financial aspect linking the two parties.
