Moroccan Prisons Offer Baccalaureate Exams to 779 Inmates in Education Initiative

For the June 2019 session of the Baccalaureate, 779 inmates took the exams. The General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR) states this in a press release, and also specifies the details.
35.55% for the Humanities, 33.81% for Literature, 10.91% for Islamic Sciences, 10.69% in Life and Earth Sciences (SVT), 3.38% for Economic Sciences, 2.94% in Physical Sciences, 2.73% in Mathematical Sciences, in Arabic, in Vocational Baccalaureate and in Technological Sciences.
The breakdown, by branch, of the 779 inmates who took the Baccalaureate exams in the June session. Among them, 17 did so while at liberty.
To achieve this goal, the DGAPR obtained legal facilities. Thus, 15 prison establishment centers served as examination centers. According to it, discipline and calm animated the candidates during the exams.
The officials of the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research supervised and coordinated the conduct of the Baccalaureate among the inmates. They thus apply the terms of the cooperation between their institution, the DGAPR and the Mohamed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Prisoners.
