Morocco Emerges as Top Safe Tourist Destination Amid Global Pandemic

The consequences of the Coronavirus crisis are not only negative. Thanks to the large-scale vaccination program of Moroccans against the virus, the Kingdom is preparing to welcome tourists from around the world in complete health safety.
Despite the harmful effects of Covid 19 on the world population, Morocco ranks among the five safest destinations in the world in terms of tourism. Experts say Morocco is preparing for a renaissance after the pandemic.
This is the third consecutive time that Morocco has remained among the countries with marginal risks related to Covid 19. This feat is made possible by the effective implementation of a vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, says the German travel agency Tourlane. Morocco enjoys confirmed political stability and continues to make progress in terms of security.
Morocco has developed an adequate strategy to counter the adverse effects of the pandemic. The establishment of a security fund to support the tourism sector, mass screening and the implementation of a vaccination strategy have allowed the Kingdom to survive this period with a minimum of disruption. Morocco has moved up four places and is now ranked 5th in the Tourlane ranking, ahead of New Zealand, Iceland and Zimbabwe.
