Morocco’s Education Minister to Make Historic First Official Visit to Israel

Government spokesman Saaïd Amzazi should soon travel to Israel on an official visit. This is the first trip of a senior Moroccan official to the Hebrew state.
A week after the resumption of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel, the governments of the two states have already put in place a program of official visits.
The visit of the Minister of National Education was announced on Wednesday on Twitter by political analyst Simon Araan, and later confirmed by a source close to the minister. For now, no date has been set.
On the Israeli side, a delegation of senior Israeli officials, whose names have not yet been disclosed, will accompany the advisor to the American president, Jared Kushner, on an official visit to Morocco on December 22.
