Morocco’s Education Minister to Dismiss Top Officials Over Project Delays

Saaïd Amzazi, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, intends to dismiss some executives from his department.
AREF directors, central or provincial directors, these are the executives who are on the starting line, reports the newspaper Al Massae.
Among them, there is the question of Youness Belkasmi, the ministry’s secretary general. Saaïd Amzazi will part ways with this civil servant who has already accumulated 14 years in this same position. The reason is "shortcomings related to priority projects and royal projects", as reported in an inspection general report of the ministry.
Already, the minister intends, according to the same source, to promote certain executives to replace those who are about to be fired. They will have the heavy task of doing better than their predecessors in this department that Moroccans do not like.
