Morocco’s Education Minister Declines Legal Action Against Student Who Made Death Threat

The Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, Saaïd Amzazi, decided not to take legal action against a student who had threatened him with murder.
According to the site Agadir24, the minister was not even aware of the action, jointly initiated by the police services and the public prosecutor’s office, against the young man who is pursuing his studies in Midelt.
The custody of the young student who, according to the site, should benefit from a dismissal, will nevertheless be extended until Monday, May 4, the date of his appearance before the public prosecutor.
The student, residing in Tiflet, was arrested last Saturday by the police, following the publication of an image on social networks containing death threats against the Moroccan Minister of National Education.
