Morocco Eases Maritime Entry Requirements: Vaccine Pass or 72-Hour PCR Test Now Accepted

Any traveler heading to Morocco, preferring maritime routes, will now have to present a vaccination pass or a PCR test of less than 72 hours.
While the protocol provided for presenting a valid vaccination pass or a PCR test of less than 48 hours at boarding, the measures have been temporarily eased by the Ministry of Health, reports La Vie Eco.
Thus, passengers entering Morocco by sea must present either a vaccination pass or the negative result of a PCR test of less than 72 hours. The objective is to boost the economic recovery and guarantee the freedom of movement of citizens, the same source points out.
Taking advantage of the restoration of relations with Spain, the kingdom has reopened its maritime borders. On Tuesday, shipping companies resumed their passenger services between Moroccan ports and the Spanish ports of Algeciras and Tarifa.
