Morocco Dominates Burundi 3-0 in Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier

A sigh of relief this afternoon for the Moroccan football team, which won a convincing victory over the Burundi team in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) qualifiers in Cameroon.
The Atlas Lions indeed won 3-0 with a first goal by Noussair Mezraoui in the 26th minute. The Ajax player took advantage of the opposing goalkeeper’s mistake who cleared the ball poorly.
Unlike the match against Mauritania where he was discreet, Youssef En-Nesyri took advantage of a scramble in the opposing defense in the 38th minute to score before Achraf Hakimi (Borussia Dortmund) scored the 3rd goal in the 48th minute.
A good match and a very nice victory for the Atlas Lions and especially a relief for Vahid Halilhodzic for whom it is the first victory since his arrival at the head of the Moroccan team.
