Morocco Resumes Domestic Flights on June 25: Key Routes Announced

Air transport is resuming its activities, particularly with domestic flights by Royal Air Maroc or Air Arabia. The new domestic routes authorized by the authorities are now known.
Following the easing of the health lockdown, the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts, Air Transport and Social Economy announced in a press release the resumption of domestic flights in Morocco as of Thursday, June 25.
Thus, Casablanca-Dakhla, Casablanca-Laayoune, Casablanca-Oujda, Casablanca-Agadir, Fès-Marrakech, Agadir-Tangier, Marrakech-Dakhla are the routes currently authorized. As for information on scheduled flights, they will be directly available from the national airlines.
In addition, a working session brought together the national airlines and the National Airports Office. During this meeting, a series of protective measures were issued, including strict and regular cleaning and disinfection of aircraft, systematic temperature checks, wearing of medical masks, etc. These measures have been taken to ensure the safety of passengers, staff and all users of air transport.
As for travel between zones 1 and 2, they are subject to the same restrictions as for other modes of transport, namely the obligation to have a professional authorization (order of mission) or an exceptional authorization issued by the local authorities for cases of force majeure.
