Moroccan Airlines Maintain Domestic Flights Despite Travel Restrictions

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and Air Arabia reassure their customers that domestic flights departing from eight cities prohibited from access are maintained.
"So far, the flights are operating normally. Flights from Casablanca, scheduled for Monday to Errachidia, Dakhla and Oujda, are operating normally. Flights have even already arrived at their destination," a source within Royal Air Maroc (RAM) told Médias24.
According to this source, neither the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and Air Transport, nor the Directorate General of Aviation have so far notified RAM that the airline is affected by the decision banning travel to and from the cities of Tangier, Tetouan, Fez, Meknes, Casablanca, Berrechid, Settat and Marrakech.
However, the airline does not yet have visibility on the next flights. According to the same source, the flights are currently operating normally. In other words, all flights are maintained. Domestic flights as well as special international flights on board Air Arabia are also maintained. But passengers must have an authorization issued by the local authorities throughout the trip.
"The journeys to the airports of the barricaded cities are still accessible. In the event of a check on the road, travelers can present their passport and airline ticket," adds the same source.
