Morocco Resumes Domestic Air Travel as COVID-19 Restrictions Ease

The Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Abdelkader Amara, announced on Saturday the resumption of air traffic and passenger transport between cities starting this Thursday, June 25.
This decision is in line with the measures to ease the health confinement decreed by the government. From June 25, the lines that will be reopened are: Casablanca-Dakhla, Casablanca-Laayoune, Casablanca-Oujda, Casablanca-Agadir, Fès-Marrakech, Agadir-Tanger, Marrakech-Dakhla, etc. All information concerning the scheduled flights will be directly available from the national companies.
In early June, the Moroccan authorities had announced the reopening of four domestic lines, Dakhla, Laâyoune, Agadir and Oujda at a rate of 2 flights per week.
30% of Royal Air Maroc (RAM) staff had returned to their offices on Thursday, June 11. The others continue to serve the company through telework due to health safety measures.
