Morocco Denies French Assistance in Sudan Evacuation, Confirms Solo Repatriation Effort

Several countries, including Morocco, would have asked France for help to evacuate their nationals stranded in Sudan, claims the newspaper Le Monde.
However, this information has been denied by a Moroccan diplomatic source to Goud, who states that the Moroccans present in Sudan have been repatriated by the Moroccan authorities and without any help from France.
The same source recalls that following the instructions of King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan embassy has set up a land convoy connecting the capital Khartoum to the city of Port Sudan, and that the Moroccan authorities have taken the necessary measures to ensure the repatriation of the other nationals as soon as possible.
