Morocco Plans Land Evacuation for 200 Nationals Trapped in Sudan Conflict

The situation of Moroccan nationals stranded in Sudan, a country plagued by clashes between the military and paramilitaries, is a concern for Morocco. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad is considering their repatriation.
In a statement to Hespress, a source said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad is in talks with another country to evacuate Moroccan nationals by land rather than by air. In this sense, Morocco is studying possible security scenarios.
