Morocco’s COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 7,130 as 44 New Fatalities Reported

44 deaths were recorded in 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health. The number of people who have succumbed to Covid-19 in Morocco since the beginning of the epidemic now stands at 7,130, with a fatality rate of 1.7%.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, there are 19 deaths, including 14 in Casablanca, 3 in Berrechid, 1 in El Jadida and 1 in Benslimane. Then come Fès-Meknès and Beni-Mellal-Khénifra. While Fès records 3 deaths against 1 in Meknès, Beni-Mellal announces 1 death against 1 in Khourigba, 1 in Khénifra, 1 in Fquih Ben Salah and 1 in Azilal.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima each report 4 deaths with 2 in Rabat against 1 in Salé, 1 in Skhirate-Témara, 1 in Tanger-Assilah, 1 in Tétouan, 1 in Al Hoceima, and 1 in Ouezzane.
In Souss-Massa, there are 3 deaths, including 1 in Tiznit, 1 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and 1 in Chtouka-Ait Baha. It is followed by Darâa-Tafilalet, which has 2 deaths, including 1 in Ouarzazate and 1 in Midelt. As for the Oriental and Marrakech-Safi, they each have 1 death, respectively in Youssoufia and Oujda-Angad.
