Morocco’s COVID-19 Cases Surge in Casablanca and Tangier Regions

Casablanca-Settat recorded 79 new cases and now has 1,579 new confirmed cases. It is followed by Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, which has 61 new infections, bringing the new total to 841.
In addition, 162 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed. The total number of cases now stands at 5,873.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of recovered cases stands at 2,389 (+65) against 186 deaths (no new deaths).
As usual, the ministry calls on Moroccans to show responsibility and patriotism by respecting the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities.
