The information that the price of gas bottles (butane) will increase in Morocco from this Monday is not verified.
According to sources in the sector cited by Rue20, the price of butane should record an increase of 10 dirhams, going from 40 to 50 dirhams at the end of April, more precisely on April 24. But no price change is planned for this Monday, April 1, we are informed.
The price of 12 kg butane gas bottles should reach 70 dirhams by 2026, as part of the measures to gradually eliminate the compensation fund included in the Finance Act, and in full compliance with the laws governing social protection, direct assistance and health insurance.
