Morocco Completes Perfect World Cup Qualifying Run with 3-0 Win Over Guinea

The Moroccan football team completed the group stage of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday evening by defeating Guinea 3-0. A sixth victory for the Atlas Lions who can be proud to have achieved a flawless run.
Vahid Halilhodzic’s men beat the Guinean selection (3-0) at the Moulay Abdellah complex in Rabat, four days after their victory over Sudan (3-0). With this sixth victory, Morocco is the only selection to have won all of its matches in these qualifiers.
The Atlas Lions beat the Nile Crocodiles (2-0) on September 2, before winning against Guinea Bissau in both the away and home matches (5-0, 3-0) on October 6 and 9. Three days later, the national team overwhelmed Guinea (4-1). In total, 20 goals scored and only one conceded. Ayoub El Kaabi and Ryan Mmaee are currently the top scorers of the selection with 5 and 4 goals scored respectively.
The next step remains the play-offs scheduled for next March. But in the meantime, there is the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Cameroon from January 9, 2022 to February 6, 2022.
