Morocco Coach Halilhodzic Responds to Belhanda’s National Team Comments

"It is the coach who makes the choice of players," replied Vahid Halilhodzic following the remarks made in an interview by Younes Belhanda stating that he no longer wants to play under his orders in the national team.
"It is the coach who makes the choice of players who will play under his orders, and it is the coach also who makes the choice of who will work with him. If a player wants to decide who will work with the coach, he is a presumptuous person," declared the Franco-Bosnian in an interview with Hespress, arguing that he had found "players who were more competitive and more efficient".
Earlier this week, in an interview with SoFoot, the now former Moroccan international had explained his exclusion from the Moroccan national football team. "Even if he calls me back, I won’t go. As long as he is the coach, it’s dead. There was a break, he did not respect me even though my performances in the club were good."
