Morocco Coach: African World Cup Victory Possible, But Not Soon

For many years, Africa has coveted the World Cup without succeeding. For the coach of the Moroccan national football team, efforts are being made for an African team to lift the trophy, but this will not be possible in the immediate future.
The coach of the Atlas Lions believes that Africa can win the World Cup. But it will take another 10 to 12 years to hope for such a consecration. "African footballers are progressing more and more, but for an African team to go all the way one day, it takes a little more time. Today, African footballers are the best in the world, like Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Achraf Hakimi and Yassine Bounou," said Vahid Halilhodzic to the BBC.
So far, no African team has yet reached the semi-finals of the World Cup. The last time an African country reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup was Ghana in 2010 against Uruguay. In 2018, for the World Cup in Russia, Morocco and the other representatives of Africa were eliminated in the group stage.
