Morocco Clinches Third Straight African Futsal Championship with 5-1 Victory

The Atlas Lions have won their third consecutive African Futsal Championship title this Sunday, April 21 in Rabat. They defeated Angola by a clear score of 5 goals to 1.
From the first minutes, they put pressure on the Angolans, scoring a goal at the beginning through their captain Soufiane El Mesrar. Despite an Angolan goal, the Moroccans doubled the lead and then scored three more goals in the second half, definitively sealing their victory.
This third consecutive title confirms Morocco’s undisputed dominance in African futsal. The Atlas Lions now turn their sights to the World Cup, which will take place in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6, 2024, with great ambitions.
