Morocco’s CHAN Squad Hit by COVID-19: Two Players Test Positive in Niger

Two local players present in Niamey with the squad as part of the preparation for the 2021 African Nations Championship in Cameroon have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Ayoub Kacimi and Ismail Khafi have been immediately taken care of in a Covid-19 treatment center in Niger, under the supervision of the national team doctor for local players, Dr. Abdellah Sabiri, according to a statement from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
In Niger, the Atlas Lions have won the two matches against Mali and Niger (1-0 and 2-0). Several Moroccan players have recently tested positive.
