Morocco to Celebrate Eid Al Adha on July 21, Astronomer Predicts

More than a month after Eid al-Fitr, Moroccans are preparing for Eid Al Adha. On what date will this holiday be celebrated in the kingdom?
Moroccan astronomer Hicham Al Aissaoui revealed the date of Eid Al Adha in a post on his Facebook page. Based on the calculations, he announced that the holiday will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 21 in Morocco. According to the same calculations, Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries will celebrate Eid Al Adha on Tuesday, July 20. Arafat will therefore take place on July 19.
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs will officially communicate the date of Eid al-Adha in the coming days. This year, Eid al-Fitr was celebrated on Thursday, May 13 in Morocco and in many Muslim countries.
