Morocco Braces for Heavy Thunderstorms and Hail Across Multiple Provinces

Locally heavy thunderstorms, sometimes accompanied by hail, are expected until Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, announced the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
Thus, showers ranging between 20 and 30 millimeters are expected from Saturday at 2 p.m. to Sunday at 6 a.m. in the provinces of Boujdour, Laâyoune and Tarfaya, the DGM said in an orange alert bulletin.
Likewise, Al Haouz, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Chichaoua, Azilal, Chtouka-Ait Baha and Tiznit will experience showers ranging from 20 to 40 mm on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., according to the DGM bulletin.
