Morocco Braces for Heatwave as Temperatures Soar to 37°C (98.6°F) in South

It is another hot day that is expected in most Moroccan regions this Thursday, March 12. 37 degrees are expected in the south of the country.
According to the forecasts of the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), 04 to 11 degrees are expected on the reliefs, the eastern high plateaus, the southern and eastern slopes and near the northern coasts, 11 to 16 degrees on the Saiss, the Mediterranean coast, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the northern and central Atlantic plains and 16 to 21 degrees on the Souss, the far southeast and the southern provinces.
In the afternoon, 19 to 25 degrees are expected on the Atlas mountains, the Mediterranean, the southeast slopes, the eastern high plateaus and near the northern and central coasts, 25 to 31 degrees on the north of the Oriental, the Saiss, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the plains west of the Atlas and the far southeast and 32 to 37 degrees on the Souss and the southern provinces.
