Morocco Braces for Heatwave as Temperatures Soar to 41°C in Multiple Provinces

Several Moroccan provinces will be affected by the heat from Monday, September 6 to Friday, September 11, warns the Directorate General of Meteorology (DMN).
The heatwave is back in Morocco. Temperatures will fluctuate between 36 and 41°C on Monday and Tuesday, the DMN specifies in a special weather bulletin with an orange alert level. This heat will affect several provinces of the kingdom: Beni Mellal, Larache, Boulemane, Chichaoua, El Hajeb, Errachidia, Oujda, Taza, Guercif, Fez, Fquih Ben Salah, Sefrou, Ifrane, Inezgane-Aït Melloul, Khemisset, Kouribga, Meknes, Moulay Yacoub, Ouezzane, Rehamna, Sidi Ifni, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Taounate and Youssoufia. During this period, temperatures will vary between 42 and 44°C in the provinces of Settat, El Kelaa des Sraghna and Marrakech.
The same phenomenon will occur, from Monday to Friday, in the provinces of Aousserd, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Guelmim, Oued Ed-Dahab, Tata, Zagora, Tan Tan and Taroudant, the same source also specifies.
