Morocco Braces for Extreme Weather: Thunderstorms in North, 37°C Heat in South

Showers and thunderstorms will hit a large part of Morocco, especially in the north of the country, today. On the temperature side, it will be hot in the south of the country with a thermometer that will rise up to 37 degrees.
For this Monday, March 30, the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) forecasts in the morning temperatures between -2 to 4 degrees on the Atlas mountains, 4 to 11 degrees on the Oriental region, the Mediterranean coast, the Tangier region, the east of the Saïss, the plains in the north and center of the country, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the Souss and the southeast, and 11 to 19 degrees on the west of the Saïss, the interior of the Gharb, the southeast, the southern provinces and on the Atlantic coasts.
In the afternoon, they should be much more pleasant or even hot, indicates DMN. Thus, it will be 2 to 18 degrees on the Atlas and Rif mountains, 18 to 26 degrees on the Oriental region, the Mediterranean coast, the Tangier region, the Saïss, the plains in the north and center of the country, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the Souss, the southeast and the northwest of the southern provinces, 26 to 32 degrees on the far southeast and the north of the southern provinces and 32 to 37 degrees on the far south of the country.
However, beware of the sea which can be rough along the Atlantic coasts.
