Morocco Boosts Transport Subsidies by 40% Amid Soaring Fuel Prices

Faced with the continuous rise in fuel prices, the government has decided to increase by 40% the value of the direct aid granted to transporters for the fourth tranche of the subsidy.
This support operation for road transport professionals has been launched in order to preserve the purchasing power of citizens, given the economic situation linked to the rise in fuel prices.
Since the start of the process, professionals have already benefited from two subsidies that have been allocated to them according to the categories, while the third tranche of support is currently being implemented.
Faced with a persistent situation, the executive has announced an increase in this support. "Given the continuity of the situation marked by the rise in fuel prices, the Government has decided to increase by 40% the value of the support granted to road transport professionals for the fourth tranche of support, which should be granted during the month of July next," the Ministry of Transport specified.
