Morocco Boosts High-Speed Train Service for Argentina Soccer Match

ONCF will mobilize its high-speed trains on the occasion of the football match between the Moroccan team and Argentina scheduled for March 26 at the Grand Stade de Tanger.
In a press release, the office announces the provision of 2132 additional seats on board the Al Boraq trains and adjustments to schedules, both outbound and return.
Specifically, a special train will leave Casa Voyageurs station at 2:00 pm to serve Rabat-Agdal at 2:50 pm then Kénitra at 3:20 pm before arriving in Tanger. All other seats will be available between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.
The return will take place after the match, at 11:30 pm, and will serve Kénitra, Rabat-Agdal and finally Casa-Voyageurs, the ONCF press release states.
However, due to this match, the Al Atlas Tanger–Marrakech (TM) train will depart later, at 12:00 am instead of 11:20 pm, to allow supporters to reach the other stations not served by the TGV.
In terms of fares, it will cost 598 dirhams in first class and 374 dirhams in second class from Casa voyageurs and respectively 468 and 286 from Rabat Agdal and 398 and 232 dirhams from Kénitra.
To take advantage of these special rates, it is better to book in advance, warns ONCF.
