Morocco to Boost Arms Industry with Israeli and US Support

The normalization of relations with Israel negotiated by the United States presents advantages for Morocco, including the help of the Hebrew state in the construction of its arms industry.
The agreement signed between Israel and Morocco will lead to the establishment of a "magical" trio (Israel-USA-Morocco) in the armaments sector, with American financing, reports Israel Valley. In plain terms, the Hebrew state will help Morocco build an arms industry. The same source could not provide details on the assistance due to the Israeli military censorship.
Since October 2020, there has been a military cooperation agreement between Morocco and the United States. US Defense Secretary Mark Esper had signed the roadmap that defines this cooperation between the two countries until 2030. The kingdom is an excellent customer of the American arms industry, with orders for Abrams tanks, 24 F-16 "Viper" fighter jets and 24 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters.
"Now more than ever, our two nations are working closely together to address the challenges of a complex security environment ranging from counterterrorism and other transnational threats to regional instability and broader strategic issues," commented a US minister, before signing this new military cooperation agreement.
