Morocco Bolsters Military Fleet with 100 US Army Tactical Trucks

The vehicle fleet of the Moroccan army is being enriched. A batch of 50 light equipment transporters have been shipped from the United States to the Kingdom. About fifty more trucks are expected to join them in the coming months.
In less than two months, Morocco is giving a facelift to its military vehicle fleet. Indeed, last July, the Royal Air Force (FAR) had already received a donation of two troop transport aircraft, of the Hercule C-130 type. The one that the Moroccan army is receiving will be received in two stages and is composed of 100 tactical light equipment transport trucks, according to FAR-Maroc, a website specialized in defense issues.
These vehicles used by the US Army will be deployed as part of evacuation, line maintenance and off-road missions.
According to FAR-Maroc, these trucks, a donation from the United States of America, offer protection against small arms fire, artillery shrapnel and IED explosions.
