US Boosts Morocco’s Air Force with Two Free C-130 Hercules Transport Planes

The Royal Air Force (RAF) has something to strengthen its capabilities. Indeed, two troop transport aircraft, of the C-130 Hercules type, are added to the already quite high capabilities of the RAF.
These two aircraft have been offered free of charge by the United States, within the framework of the American military assistance program "Excess defense articles", which is led by the "Defense security cooperation agency" (DSCA).
Designed in the early 1950s by the United States, this type of aircraft, intended for military transport, is valued at $31 million. For the record, more than 2,200 units of this model have been manufactured for about fifty countries in the world.
Nowadays, this type of aircraft, which has undergone great evolution, is designed in its improved versions, and is still widely used, particularly in Morocco.
