Morocco’s Blue City: Chefchaouen Named Among World’s Most Beautiful Streets
The city of Chefchaouen stands out thanks to its streets, ranked among the ten most beautiful in the world.
The typical traditional architecture and the multiple natural landscapes of Chefchaouen have convinced the jury members. In this regard, the blue pearl has been distinguished as was the case with tourism organizations and specialized press.
Its streets, ranked among the ten most beautiful in the world, managed to take 9th place in the last competition organized by the international website "Espresso". Chefchaouen has all the assets to win a new bet through this international competition entitled "The most attractive streets and alleys in the world", reports Challenge.ma.
Majestically enthroned with their historical and tourist sites within the walls, those of Chefchaouen were able to integrate this ranking thanks to their cleanliness, their architectural aspect, their typical blue as well as the traditional dishes and local products and crafts of the Jbala region, indicates the same source. According to the same media, these streets have always helped to promote the attractiveness of the city and make it a destination of choice for national and international visitors.
Three months ago, the British magazine Wanderlust had ranked Chefchaouen among the twelve most beautiful cities in the world renowned for the blue facades of their old neighborhoods.
