Marrakech Ranks 7th Among World's Most Affordable Tourist Destinations

The ochre city is now in the Top 10 of the world’s least expensive tourist cities. Indeed, a day in Marrakech is equivalent to an average cost of 46.96 euros for the tourist!

Beyond the tourist attractions that are recognized and seduce many visitors from around the world, Marrakech has just been ranked among the least expensive in the world.

Indeed, according to a study carried out this year and just published by "Starling Bank", the city of Marrakech ranks 7th among the most popular and least expensive cities in the world, reports Les Eco. Meanwhile, the newspaper specifies, "the Indian capital, Delhi, is ranked first with an average cost of 28.22 euros per day, followed by Cairo, then Istanbul, in third place".

In contrast to these cities, New York tops the list of the most expensive for tourists. In the American megalopolis, a day costs 179.15 euros. We then find Los Angeles, with an average daily cost of 89.40 euros. London, the British capital, ranks third with an average cost of around 45.00 euros.

In 2015 already, in its annual report, TripAdvisor had ranked Marrakech 8th among the most economical tourist destinations for summer travel. In this regard, a three-day stay in the ochre city was estimated at $920 for a couple.

All these advantages justify the many recognitions awarded to Marrakech and undoubtedly reinforce the competitiveness of the city, which sees its attendance rate increase every year.
