Morocco Begins Rollout of Third COVID-19 Vaccine Dose

The Moroccan Ministry of Health has just announced the administration of the third dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus following the recommendations of the Technical and Scientific Committee.
It is now effective. A third dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus will be administered in Morocco. "Following the recommendations of the national scientific committee and international scientific recommendations, a third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will be administered as part of the national vaccination campaign, which has been experiencing a positive dynamic and wide interaction of citizens since its launch," the ministry said in a statement, adding that citizens will be informed of the procedures and modalities to benefit from this third dose, as well as the target groups.
Given the importance of strengthening immunity among all Moroccans and foreigners residing in Morocco and so that they can protect themselves and their families from contamination, they are called upon to adhere to this operation, the same source points out.
The minister also calls on all citizens to respect the instructions of the public health authorities and to continue to strictly observe the preventive measures before and after vaccination, in order to contribute to the national effort to curb this virus in Morocco and to progress towards collective immunity.
