Morocco’s New PM Begins Coalition Talks to Form Government

After the appointment on Friday of the RNI leader, Aziz Akhannouch, to the post of Head of Government, Moroccans are waiting to know the composition of the new executive. Rachid Talbi Alami, a member of the RNI political bureau, announces the opening of consultations this week.
These consultations will take into account all the political parties that have obtained seats in Parliament for the establishment of a coalition to form a new government team, Talbi Alami said on Saturday in Rabat, a member of the political bureau of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) party, during a press briefing. With a view to this formation, the Dove party has stated, in a press release, that it is willing to work with all political parties, whether at the local or national level, in order to build solid and harmonious coalitions.
Also, he assured that his party will quickly start consultations with the other political formations that share the same vision as him to form a solid and homogeneous majority, and above all sharing the same ambitions, in the realization of the great projects of the King’s strategies and government programs.
