Morocco Bans Unauthorized ’Peace March’ to Southern Border Amid COVID-19 Concerns

The Ministry of the Interior has never authorized "the peace march to tighten the ties between Rabat and El Guergarat," in the south of the country.
For the past few days, information widely circulated on social networks has reported the organization of a demonstration called "the peace march to tighten the ties between Rabat and El Guergarat." According to the organizers, this march should be held from October 16, 2020.
But a source at the Ministry of the Interior explained to MAP that no authorization has been issued for the organization of this march. In addition, such an organization with the health crisis that Morocco is going through, goes against all the measures taken to circumvent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
