Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Postpones Green March Anniversary Speech Due to COVID-19 Case

The speech that King Mohammed VI was to deliver tonight on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Green March has been postponed due to a last-minute incident.
In a statement, the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced that the detection of a positive Covid-19 case within the technical team in charge of the recording and audiovisual broadcasting of the Royal speech has led to the postponement of this speech.
In such a situation, the statement specifies, strict health protocols and measures are required. Thus, the Royal Speech on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Green March will be delivered by the Sovereign this Saturday, November 7, 2020 and broadcast on radio and television at 9:00 PM.
