The National Railway Office (ONCF) has awarded three major contracts to three major manufacturers who submitted the most advantageous and economically viable bids as part of its program to acquire new trains.
The ONCF has finalized contracts related to its program to acquire 168 new generation trains. Morocco intends to renew the existing ONCF fleet and support traffic growth, as well as the development projects initiated by 2030 as part of the program. Three major contracts have thus been awarded to three major manufacturers.
