Morocco vs. Argentina Friendly Match Relocated to Tangier Stadium

It will be neither in Casablanca nor in Rabat. The friendly football match between the Moroccan and Argentine teams will finally take place in Tangier.
The announcement was made by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) citing "logistical reasons." Originally scheduled in Casablanca and then officially announced at the Moulay Abdellah complex in Rabat, the match will take place at the Grand Stade de Tangier.
This friendly match is part of the preparations of the Atlas Lions for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2019) scheduled for next summer in Egypt.
The two most recent matches between the two teams had been won by Argentina. In 1994 by 3 goals to 1 while the Atlas Lions were preparing for the 1994 World Cup in the United States and ten years later in 2004 in Casablanca which saw the victory of Argentina by 1 goal to 0.
Announced absent for this match, Barcelona star Lionel Messi will finally be there to the delight of his many Moroccan fans, especially in the north of the country.
