Morocco Announces Squad for Crucial AFCON Qualifier and Friendly Match

The list of 26 players to play the next matches against the Ivorian selection (friendly) on October 14 in Abidjan, and the Liberian selection (official) on October 17 in Agadir, has just been unveiled by the coach of the Moroccan national team, Walid Regragui.
The match against Liberia, counting towards the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN-2023), has been rescheduled for October 17 at the Grand Stade d’Agadir.
This match, which was to take place on September 9 in Agadir, had been postponed, following the earthquake that hit the Al Haouz region.
Here is the list of selected players:
• Goalkeepers: Yassine Bounou, Munir El Kajoui, El Mehdi Benabid.
• Defenders: Achraf Hakimi, Ayoub El Amloud, Abdelkader Abqar, Nayef Aguerd, Ghanem Saïs, Yunis Abdelhamid, Noussair Mazraoui, Yahya Attiyat Allah
• Midfielders: Amir Richardson, Oussama El Azzouzi, Sofyan Amrabat, Selim Amellah, Azzeddine Ounahi, Bilal El Khannous, Ismail Saibari.
• Forwards: Amine Harit, Ibrahim Salah, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, Hakim Ziyech, Amine Adli, Youssef En-nesyri, Ayoub El Kaabi, Tarik Tissoudali.
