Morocco Announces 2019-2020 School Year Calendar, First Break Starts November 3

More than a month after the start of the school year, for the 2019-2020 academic year, the school vacation calendar is available. Thus, we can read that the first school vacations in public schools start on November 3.
On November 3, students will go on vacation for ten days. According to the calendar published by the Ministry of National Education, this ten-day rest period includes Independence Day, the Green March and Eid al-Mawlid.
The New Year vacation on January 1, followed by the winter vacation from January 19 to 26, will give way to the spring vacation, from March 29 to April 12, for a two-week period. According to the calendar, classes end on Friday, July 3, 2020.
The school vacation calendar in public schools is as follows:
• Independence Day: Monday, November 18, 2019 (one day)
• New Year’s Day: Wednesday, January 1, 2020 (one day)
• Manifesto of Independence: Saturday, January 11, 2020 (one day)
• Winter vacation: from Sunday, January 19, 2020 to Sunday, January 26, 2020 (8 days)
• Spring vacation: from Sunday, March 29, 2020 to Sunday, April 12, 2020 (15 days)
• Labor Day: Friday, May 1, 2020 (one day)
• Eid al-Fitr: from 28 Ramadan to 2 Shawwal 1441 (4 days)
School vacations in French mission schools:
• Fall vacation: from Saturday, October 19, 2019 after class to Monday, November 4, 2019
• Christmas vacation: from Saturday, December 21, 2019 after class to Monday, January 6, 2020
• Winter vacation: from Saturday, February 15, 2020 after class to Monday, March 2, 2020
• Spring vacation: from Saturday, April 18, 2020 after class to Monday, May 4, 2020
• End of classes for all levels of education: Friday, July 3, 2020.
