Morocco Announces School Holiday Dates Amid Extended COVID-19 Lockdown

The date of the school holidays is set in Morocco. They will take place from April 27 to May 3, 2020.
In a press release, the Ministry of National Education indicates that this decision comes in the light of the extension of the confinement period in Morocco until May 20. It also aims to allow students, students and trainees to rest and renew their mental and physical activities.
The ministry also saluted the considerable efforts made by all the educational, university and administrative staff to ensure the continuity of classes since March 16, 2020, the attendance demonstrated by students, students and trainees, as well as the involvement of families in the supervision and monitoring of their children.
It also saluted the civic efforts and initiatives undertaken by the educational, university and administrative staff, trainers, families, students and actors in society for the continuation of the distance learning operation for nearly 6 weeks, without interruption.
In addition, the supervisory department has recommended that students, students and trainees respect the preventive measures issued by the public authorities, in particular the directives related to confinement, by avoiding any travel or sporting activity outside their homes.
