Morocco and UK Set to Boost Energy Cooperation with Major Investment Projects

Morocco and the United Kingdom are working to strengthen their cooperation, particularly in the energy sector. Major joint projects led by private companies could soon see the light of day.
The announcement was made by the British Ambassador to Morocco, Simon Martin, during the visit to Rabat of Dr. Andrew Murison, the UK Prime Minister’s special envoy for trade to Morocco.
Speaking on this occasion, the British diplomat did not rule out the development of the bilateral partnership, particularly in terms of investments, knowing that the United Kingdom is looking for opportunities after its exit from the European Union.
For his part, Dr. Andrew Murison specified that the purpose of his visit was to deepen the dialogue with government officials, particularly on the objectives set out in the association agreements signed in 2019 with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita.
