Morocco and Qatar Sign Security Deal for 2022 World Cup

As part of the World Cup starting in a few weeks in Qatar, the Moroccan and Qatari authorities have announced the signing of a security cooperation agreement for the protection and security of all throughout this great sporting event.
This agreement between the two countries aims not only to ensure security in the stadiums during the 28 days of competition, but also to raise the levels of security devices for the protection of supporters who will come from all over the world.
Morocco takes the security aspect of this World Cup seriously. This is why, last May, a delegation had already traveled to Qatar to visit the various stadiums that will host the various matches of this competition. More than 23,000 Moroccan police officers will be deployed in the stadiums in support of those of Qatar and its many other countries, including Turkey.
