Morocco and Europe Top Summer Travel Destinations for French Holidaymakers, Survey Finds

The French could spend their summer holidays in Morocco and in European countries. This is revealed by a comparative study of flights by Algofly.fr.
As the deconfinement phase begins this Monday, May 11 in France, some French people are already thinking about spending their summer holidays in Europe... 10.1% of respondents do not plan to leave. But 41.5% of French people plan to spend their next holidays in France, and 34.2% in other European countries (for 15.7% of respondents), or more distant destinations (for 18.5% of them), according to the Algofly.fr survey.
51.16% of the French had planned their holidays abroad more than 6 months in advance, beyond the next summer season. In other words, half of the French still have the idea of traveling in mind. However, 64.1% say they are a little worried, quite worried and very worried about the idea of traveling abroad, the study specifies.
"It will take time to regain the confidence of travelers. Two out of three French people are worried about the idea of traveling abroad for their next vacation. Out of fear of being contaminated, of being automatically placed in quarantine, it is difficult to know today whether these causes of concern are justified or not," comments the study.
