Morocco’s Amrabat Excited for 2030 World Cup, Names Ronaldo as Toughest Opponent

In an interview, Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat spoke about the co-organization of the 2030 World Cup in Morocco alongside Spain and Portugal. The Atlas Lion also revealed the name of the most difficult player he has faced in his career.
"I am very excited about Morocco hosting the World Cup. I think everyone who comes to Morocco will have a good time. Everyone will appreciate the cuisine, the climate, the hotels and the stadiums that are currently under construction." This is how Sofyan Amrabat expressed himself in an interview with the official website of Manchester United. According to him, Morocco has several assets. In addition to its excellent stadiums, "there are new ones that will be built for the World Cup," he added.
Who is the name of the most difficult player the 27-year-old Atlas Lion has faced in his career? "The most difficult player I’ve faced? I would choose Cristiano Ronaldo," he replied. Asked about the best midfielder of all time, Sofyan assures that "it’s a difficult question, but the answer cannot exclude names like Zidane, Xavi, Paul Scholes and Roy Keane." He also cites other players: "Yaya Touré was also an excellent midfielder even though he played for Manchester City. These players have won many titles and were extremely important in their teams."
But of all the players, his older brother Nordin remains an example for him. "In truth, I didn’t have a role model to follow. My brother is ten years older than me, so it’s him I’ve always followed. I can say that my brother was my exemplary player."
