Morocco to Allow Limited Reopening of Cafes and Restaurants from June 11

The Moroccan government is working to initiate the process of gradual deconfinement in the country starting June 11. Cafes and restaurants will be allowed to provide only fast services to their customers.
The Ministry of the Interior has looked into the reopening of cafes and restaurants after Eid El-Fitr, which has been the subject of a plan, reports Al Akhbar. These establishments will be called upon to reopen, but not as in the past. They will only provide fast services, while strictly respecting the barrier gestures and all the measures that have been notified to them by the agents and auxiliary authorities.
The owners of cafes and restaurants have also been required to declare their employees to the CNSS; which will allow them to benefit from the subsidies granted in times of crisis. By opting for a controlled reopening of these establishments, the ministry is working for the gradual return of the 200,000 employees in the sector.
